Syllabus Share Program in Partnership with APA Division II (Society for the Teaching of Psychology)

The NASP Graduate Education Committee has partnered with APA Division II, Society for the Teaching of Psychology, to provide a syllabus review and sharing program for graduate educators in school psychology.  APA Division II's Project Syllabus provides an online publication process similar to an academic journal for sharing peer-reviewed, quality syllabi in psychology.  The NASP Graduate Education Committee has partnered with Project Syllabus to provide a second level of review for syllabi specific to School Psychology, with a particular focus on alignment with program goals and NASP standards.  Syllabi reviewed and accepted by both Project Syllabus and the NASP Graduate Education Committee will be shared on both the Division II website as well as listed below.

  2. Review the rubric used to review all syllabi by APA Division II
  3. Submit syllabi for a peer review and possible inclusion to Dr. Amy Hunter (Associated Director of Project Syllabus) as outlined on the Project Syllabus website.

NASP Syllabus Review

After a syllabus is approved from APA Division II, Division II will send all approved syllabi for school psychology courses to the NASP Graduate Education Committee for further peer review, led by Dr. Kasee Stratton.   Specifically, the Committee will use a rubric to evaluate the syllabus' linkage to national standards and/or program goals. Following the NASP Graduate Educators Committee review, faculty will be notified of acceptance/revision/rejection, and the syllabus will be posted below.
