The NASP Research Center provides access to empirical research on the profession of school psychology and information on the research activities of the Association. 

Research @ NASP

Research @ NASPNASP conducts, facilitates, and publishes research on a number of topics relevant to school psychologists. Through the use of surveys and strategic research partnerships NASP collects and disseminates information to school psychologists, policy makers, and the general public. These studies help support NASP in its advocacy efforts. NASP members are also eligible to apply for funding to support their own projects.

Research Resources

ResourcesNASP provides resources for both practicing school psychologists and researchers. For topics of particular importance, NASP reviews and synthesizes current research for easy and quick review in our research summaries. Members are eligible to apply to use data obtained by NASP, including information on school psychology workforce and employment conditions. NASP members also are able to access our peer-reviewed journal School Psychology Review (SPR), which publishes research on a wide variety of topics applicable to school psychology.

NASP Research Reports

NRRNASP Research Reports (NRR) is a peer-reviewed, electronic publication managed by the NASP Research Committee. It is published on an as-needed basis and is disseminated free of charge to education and mental health professionals, researchers, policy makers, and the general public. Recent articles have focused on graduate education and employment conditions in school psychology.
