NASP Applauds Final Title IX Rule Protecting LGBTQ+ Students

NASP) applauds the U.S. Department of Education's newly revised Title IX regulations, which codify the rights of LGBTQ+ students under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. This rule aligns with NASP's longstanding position on the necessary enumerated policies and practices that support the civil, human, and educational rights of all students, including those with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, or gender expressions.

  • Eric Rossen Named as Next NASP Executive Director

    NASP is pleased to announce the hiring of Eric Rossen as its new executive director, beginning July 1, 2024. Dr. Rossen has served as NASP’s Director of Professional Standards—formerly Director of Professional Development and Standards—since 2010, and he recently earned his Certified Association Executive credential through the American Society for Association Executives (ASAE). He will begin serving as Executive Director following the retirement of Dr. Kathleen Minke this summer.
