NASP Bookstore FAQ

Who do I speak to if I have a question?

For questions about a product or an order, please call 866-331-NASP or 301-657-0270 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday, or email [email protected].

Can I place my order online?

Orders may be placed online using a VISA or MasterCard credit card. Most orders are shipped within 3–4 business days depending on availability. If you have provided an email at the time of your purchase, you will receive an email confirmation when your order ships along with tracking information.

What type of payments does NASP accept?

We accept VISA and MasterCard, check, or money order. To purchase online, you must provide a credit card. On a limited basis, school districts and universities may purchase using a purchase order. Contact the NASP publication department at [email protected] for details. .

If you are purchasing a NASP book or ebook with a check or money order, make it payable to National Association of School Psychologists. Please do not send cash or international money orders. Checks must be in U.S. dollars drawn on a U.S. bank. Mail your prepaid order to: National Association of School Psychologists, PO Box 79469, Baltimore, MD 21279-0469.

How do I know my order has shipped?

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email from NASP’s fulfillment center that will provide tracking details. Please check your spam folder if you did not receive the email. You may also email [email protected] for tracking details.

Does NASP accept purchase orders?

On a limited basis, NASP will accept purchase orders from school districts and universities. (Bookstores are required to prepay.) Purchase orders may be emailed to [email protected] or mailed to NASP, 4340 East West Highway, Suite 402, Bethesda, MD 20814. If you have any questions regarding whether your organization qualifies to purchase using a purchase order, please email [email protected].

What is NASP’s pricing policy?

Members receive discounts off the list price (nonmember price) on most publications. Discounts do not apply on sale items or promotional products. You must log in as a member to receive member pricing.

Nonmember individuals may create an account to purchase online. Go to Login in the upper right corner of the NASP website and then Create an Account. Your username will be your email address. Bookstores and other resellers should not place their order online as a nonmember. Please call or email your order to NASP or contact the Publications department at [email protected]

Bulk Orders: A quantity discount will be applied to most orders when purchasing seven or more copies of any one NASP title and when shipping to one address.

Does NASP charge sales tax?

NASP only charges sales tax for those orders with a Maryland billing or shipping address. If you have questions, please email [email protected].

Does NASP allow returns?

Individuals may return printed products within 30 days for full credit, less any shipping and handling. Please use the preprinted return label on the packing slip with your order. Return instructions are provided on the packing slip. When returning your package, NASP recommends shipping via USPS priority, UPS, or Fed Ex, so you may track your package.

Ebook (digital) products may not be returned. All ebook sales are final.

Bookstores/Resellers: NASP accepts returns from resellers within 180 days of invoice. NASP written approval is required. Products must be in saleable condition with no damage and in original shrink-wrap, if applicable. A 20% restocking fee will be charged. To request permission to return, email [email protected] and include information regarding the items to be returned and the related invoice.

My order arrived damaged, what do I do?

If your order is damaged in shipment, please keep the original box it was shipped in, take a photo of the damage, and contact NASP at [email protected] for approval to return and for replacement or credit. You must notify NASP within seven business days of receipt of your order and have the original packaging in order to receive a refund or replacement.

How do I access my ebook?

There may be different ways to access your ebook depending on what you ordered. If you have purchased Helping Handouts, you can access it by logging in to the NASP website (nasponline.org) and then clicking on My Account in the upper right corner; scroll down to “view purchased electronic products” where you can access the book. Other ebooks are fulfilled through a third-party vendor, and you will receive an email with instructions to access your ebook. If you have any issues accessing an ebook you purchased, please contact NASP’s Publications Department.

Shipping

Most orders shipping to a continental U.S. address will ship within 3–4 business days via UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail. Please call if you wish to expedite shipping. Additional shipping fees will apply.

Orders shipped in the continental U.S. will normally arrive within 7–10 business days.

Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories, as well as international addresses, will be charged additional shipping fees. Call or email for details. Shipments to overseas addresses may take several weeks. Anyone purchasing items to ship to an international address are responsible for any duties and taxes that may apply.
