"Without the Street of Sisters, the king would have no humility; it leads from the ruin of the Dragonpit to the ruin of the Great Sept of Baelor, where the Targaryens and Baratheons buried their kings until Cersei Lannister unburied them."
Varys[src]

The Street of the Sisters,[1] also called the Street of Sisters,[2] is a street in King's Landing that runs from the Dragonpit to the Great Sept of Baelor.

History[]

House of the Dragon: Season 1[]

Rhaenyra and Alicent ride a wheelhouse through the Street of the Sisters on their way to the Red Keep.[3][1]

In the books[]

In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, the Street of Sisters is one of four streets that starts at the great square in the centre of King's Landing, with the other three being the God's Way, the King's Way and the Muddy Way. The Guildhall of the Alchemists is located upon it and the brothel known as the House of Kisses is located at the end of the street atop Visenya's Hill.

Lady Baela Targaryen was known to take part in drunken horse races along the street.

In A Game of Thrones, a drunken horse race takes place along the street during the build up to the Hand's Tourney. Arya travels along the street when she makes her way to the Great Sept of Baelor, to witness the her father's execution.
