UK productivity growth | Donald Trump election statistics

An opinion piece (Don’t forgive or forget: punish these Tories with your votes, 25 May, Journal, p1) said the 2010s “saw the lowest UK productivity since Waterloo”; this should have been “productivity growth”.

It was not the day after Donald Trump was found guilty of all 34 counts of falsifying business records that betting markets put his chances of being elected president at above 50% for the first time (A multiple felon can now lead the free world. That’s us in 2024, 1 June, Journal, p3). This actually happened earlier, on 21 May 2024, in the later stages of the trial.
