An ideal Japanese-made tee made from fine cotton with a high stitch-count throughout. Whitesville was an American sportswear brand owned by Montgomery Ward, and was well-known for tees and varsity jackets until the late 1950s. Eventually the brand was overshadowed by Champion, Hanes, and Russell, and closed down. Toyo Enterprise, known for Sugar Cane, Buzz Rickson, Sun Surf and more, licensed the name and are now reproducing these classic tees with their original art and packaging.
