Interesting that as things are unfolding through the offseason we are seeing a lot of praise for the Arizona Cardinals heading into the season.

We discussed taking the over 6.5 wins from PFF, and Zay Jones as a bounce back candidate.

Then, Judy Batista of NFL.com wrote about eight sleeper MVP candidates and mentioned Kyler Murray.

Read her list here.

However, there was one piece of information that Batista brought out that is really interesting... Check it out:

Murray returned from his 2022 ACL injury in Week 10 last season, but he and the Cardinals offense really took off in the final four games of the campaign — he completed 70.3 percent of his passes for 935 yards, seven touchdowns and three interceptions. In that span, the Cardinals led the league in total offense, with 414.3 yards per game.

Those last four games included these defensive rankings:

So, two good defenses and two bad defenses, both who now have new defensive coordinators.

However, being the best in a four game stretch in terms of total offense is impressive, and putting up numbers against bad defenses is what good offenses do.

Now, can they do it over a full season?
