Destiny 2 Iron Banner schedule dates for 2024

Iron Banner — a tentpole of Destiny 2 PvP — is a week-long event that appears regularly throughout the year, and a useful source of Pinnacle gear for those looking to boost their Power level.

In this Destiny 2 guide, we’ll tell you everything we know about the Iron Banner schedule we know so far.

When is the next Iron Banner? Destiny 2 Iron Banner schedule dates

Iron Banner has only one confirmed date for The Final Shape so far. As part of the announcement, Bungie has said this is the “first” week, suggesting there will be at least one more Iron Banner week this Episode.

The confirmed Iron Banner schedule is as follows:

• Week 5: Tuesday, July 2, to Tuesday, July 9

All of the above dates start and end at the usual weekly reset time.

We don’t know the changes coming to Iron Banner in July — and will update this page with any details (as well as further dates) as they come through.

What happened in the last Iron Banner?

The headline change for Season of the Wish was Tribute, a mode based on the Supremacy rules in Destiny 2.

Here’s how it worked: When you defeated enemies in Tribute, they dropped Crests, which you could then take and deposit into special Tribute Stations. This would earn you points when done normally, but banking a large group Crests at once also created a Hunt. In Tribute, a Hunt activated a special Tribute Station for a limited time, which caused any Crests your team deposited to count for more points.

In its blog announcing Tribute, Bungie teased that something other than enemy Guardians would be watching these special Hunt stations: the Cabal empress, Caiatl — meaning some Cabal enemies or Cabal turrets would attempt to stop you as you go for high point deposits.
