I write, assign and edit stories primarily on the intersection between sports, lifestyle and culture.
My Background
I have worked at The Times since 2004 in a variety of roles, most of which revolved around the sporting world. I have run the company’s baseball coverage, chronicled numerous Super Bowls, led our coverage of the Westminster Dog Show and wrote the Keeping Score column for a number of years. I grew up in California and graduated from Humboldt State University before working for several Bay Area newspapers. I now live in Connecticut with my wife and two children.
Journalistic Ethics
As a Times journalist, I am committed to upholding the standards of integrity outlined in our Ethical Journalism Handbook. I have made a point of not accepting gifts or favors based on my position in hopes of maintaining an objective approach to my work.
