Drake has lost $1million in sports bets over the past week after the Florida Panthers clinched their first Stanley Cup title by besting the Edmonton Oilers in seven games.
The Canadian rapper unsurprisingly bet half a million on the team from north of the border, which would have won him $1.25m.
Unfortunately, despite overcoming a 0-3 deficit to force a Game 7 on Monday, the Oilers failed to gain their sixth franchise title, and the Drake curse may once again be responsible for their demise.
Before the thriller of a series, Drake placed another half-million wager on the NBA Finals, favoring the Dallas Mavericks.
However, Luka Doncic and Co. would fall to Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics in five games, despite an incredibly dominant performance at home in Game 4.

The NBA bet would have resulted in a $1.37m payout if the odds went in his favor.
His loss comes less than three weeks after the Nice For What hitmaker suffered a major loss from betting on Tyson Fury to beat Oleksandr Usyk.
The Ukrainian beat Fury by split decision in Saudi Arabia to become the first undisputed heavyweight boxing champion in 24 years last month.
It was bad news for Drake, however, who would have collected just over $1m if the Brit emerged victorious.
In their attempt to become the first NHL team since the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1942 to come back from 0-3 to win a title, the Oilers did not go down without a fight.

They desperately tried to scrape a goal in the final period, outshooting the Panthers in the third with nine shots on goal to Florida's four.
Edmonton would also have more shots on goal for the game's entirety - 24 to Florida's 21. The winners, however, had 31 hits to Edmonton's 20 and 17 blocks to the Oilers' 14.
