Scientists have discovered signs of water on Mars, which adds to the speculation that life could survive on the planet. NASA says the new findings published today “provide the strongest evidence yet that liquid water flows intermittently on present-day Mars.” In this photograph, dark, narrow streaks on Martian slopes such as these at Hale Crater are inferred to be formed by seasonal flow of water on contemporary Mars.
