Vacation season’s upon us—and that means one thing: Vogue Club’s Summer Style Guide is back (and better than ever)!
This time around, we’re spotlighting your styling and shopping tips for the perfect summer vacation. Vogue’s editorial staff will be hand-selecting the best entries, which will be featured alongside submissions from our top editors. The best thing? It’s super simple to take part…
Email us your answers to the five questions below (sharing at least 2-3 lines of text for each answer) alongside at least two high-quality images for each answer (that’s about 10 high-resolution images in total—but of course, if you have even more pics to share, send them our way).
Here are the questions:
What’s your essential summer purchase—and why do you love it? This could be anything from a cute dress to a basket for picnics at the beach—or even a novel or an album to get you into that vacation state of mind.
What’s a beauty product that everybody should get their hands on—and why? Talk to us about your favorite SPF, the subtle lip tint, or the glow serum you’re loving right now.
What’s a place you love to visit—and how do you spend your time there? Maybe it’s a hammock in Bali, a wine valley in Sacramento, or your secret restaurant with the best pasta…
What’s the one summer shoe you can’t recommend enough? Perhaps it’s a gel sandal—or even a pair of sliders for the beach.
What’s one accessory you can’t do without—and why? This could be a large pair of shades, a shawl for when the evenings get chilly, or a hair clip for breezy days.
Visual guidelines for submitting images:
- Quality: All images should be sent in high-resolution.
- Framing and lighting: Make sure you are clearly visible in the image and that your surroundings are well-lit. If you are sending an image of a place or product, make sure it is centered and that its surroundings are well-lit.
- Enlist a friend or family member to help you capture the images if you don’t have a handy tripod (or somewhere to lean your phone).
- We want to see you in your life—we love a natural look in images.
- Your outfit: We love to see your personal style, so feel free to show off your favorite look!
