Andy Murray teams up with Emma Raducanu in Wimbledon farewell

The 37-year-old was already set to play in men’s doubles with brother Jamie but will now also feature in second event with fellow Briton after pulling out of singles draw

Andy Murray will play alongside Emma Raducanu in the mixed doubles after adding a second event to his Wimbledon farewell.

It had been thought that the 37-year-old’s final match at the All England Club would be alongside his brother, Jamie, in the men’s doubles after he withdrew from the singles on Tuesday.

Murray, however, has decided that he wants to make the most of his final Wimbledon before his retirement this summer. A message was sent by Murray to Raducanu, 21, on Tuesday night asking if she wanted to play and the quick response was positive.
