It’s best to ask for immigration advising to [email protected] from your Pratt email account so:
- we can provide you useful and/or necessary electronic resources
- you will have the information for your records to refer back to
- we can look up your personal academic and SEVIS details if needed
- you can follow up with any additional questions about the topic at your convenience, without having to repeat details

READ OUR EMAILS
Please check your Pratt email regularly for important and time-sensitive updates. Our emails will come from [email protected], to your Pratt email. If you cannot keep control of your inbox, you need to routinely search for messages from OIA as the sender. It is your individual responsibility to maintain your own F-1 status and monitor for important updates or messages from OIA, as immigration procedures can change rapidly.
Watch out for Scams! Scams are all over the place and Pratt international students fall victim regularly. Pratt will never call or email you asking for money transfer. Sudden job/internship offers are also scams. Also, if your home country “police” call your U.S cell phone from a legitimate U.S. or home country number, immediately hang up and block the number immediately. Do not engage with the caller no matter how real they seem, as this is a very known and effective scam that involves spoofing real phone numbers and realistic documentation.
