Brass is a yellow copper alloy made of copper and zinc, among other things. I weld Brass pretty regularly and never knew that it was something that welders did. I was under the impression that you could only braze copper alloys, but when they told me to weld it--I was at a loss! Sure, I could do it, but I knew there had to be a better way. Of course after scouring google, and finding nothing besides how to braze Brass, I decided to make my own notes on Brass welding.
