These things are a little pricey, let's be fair. I put off buying one for months and finally had a month where I came up under-budget by enough to justify a purchase like this. So I bought one.
I now am unsure why I waited this long to get one.
This thing is huge. I'm able to make giant portions easily. Everything cooks well in it. The heat distribution is beautiful. I haven't touched my slow cooker since I got it. I haven't really touched my skillet since I got it. Everything has come out amazingly. This thing makes KILLER soups. Google "one pot meal recipes" and everything there will work in this.
My one complaint? It weighs a ton.
It's made of cast iron. Of course it does.
Ive had it a month, I've used it EASILY twenty times.
Get this thing. Seriously. You won't regret it. I honestly regret debating on it for so long.

Dutch oven a Cook's must have!
I love my new Dutch oven. I took the America's test kitchen review second place recommendation Overall a great pot/pan but it is very Heavy! I find it difficult to pickup and be very careful washing it pan is slippery when wet and soapy. But you can't beat the price 75$ compared to 350$ for the French version.
