I really like this product with the enzymes in the ingredients. I was surprised after so many different carpet cleaners this product did exactly what it advertised. It removes most stains and leaves the carpet smelling and looking almost bran new. I was so happy a product that actually works. The money was a little high, but the product is so worth it.

My elderly kitty had surgery and the pain drugs made her lose control of her muscles, so she accidentally peed on the sofa. Yep. The super expensive, puffy beige linen designer sofa. I didn’t notice at first, because I was focused on her. When I did notice, my cat was declining and I didn’t care about the sofa or anything else, just threw a blanket over it. Now, a month and a half later, I have tried a few spot cleaners, used my little Green Hydrosteam Pet upholstery cleaner in spots, but they left rings, because the fabric was new. I guess you have to do whole sections in that case. Plus the urine was into the sofa padding. Arrgghh.Called a highly reviewed (on Yelp) sofa cleaner. Two guys came in with a gigantic machine, told me it was double the charge because there’s money in upselling, soaked it with steam, sucked that out and left. 20 minutes, and nearly $200 later, it was exactly the same as when they walked in, except it was soaking wet. The urine smell was worse. They managed to pound the urine in even deeper.I immediately pulled out my brand new Bissell hydrosteam pet machine and steamed the entire bottom cushion and back. The water was filthy. I was so depressed.I went to Google in search of the best nontoxic product with top reviews. This product came up everywhere, which led me here to Amazon.I read a ton of reviews on this product. One person said to soak the spots and then pour some directly in to the padding to go in deep. Wait. Hours. Then she used her spot cleaner machine and USING ONLY WATER-no products- she sprayed and sucked up the residual. I decided I had nothing to lose, so I ordered this product.Sprayed this stuff liberally, covering the entire section and then I bit the bullet, took off the cap and poured some right down into the upholstery. Left it for hours to do its enzyme magic. It smelled great.Later, I came back with the machine and plain water and steamed/wet it on the whole section to avoid watermarks, then sucked out the liquid over and over until the was nothing more coming out. The smell was so sparkly and clean. Sort of minty but not minty. Definitely not chemically like the stuff everywhere else.I have let it dry by itself the past couple of days. It smells beautiful and fresh. I can’t thank this small/family/made in the USA company enough. I will never use any other product than this.It makes me so happy to walk in to my living room and know this is clean and the product is safe for me and my pets.I added an after photo of what I got out of the sofa after the cleaners left and I went over it with my Bissell Hydrosteam before I did it again with this beautiful product. I highly recommend this machine as well. It’s the black and gold one, not the black and purple one. I found it at Target, but I think it’s on Amazon.Trust these products. If they can’t help you, your stuff can’t be helped.Sorry for the weird breathing. I was bending over really low 😂

My elderly cat hates change of any kind. We have remodeling going on so things are not right in his world. He started peeing on my carpet which he did right in front of me. I quickly got the carpet cleaner out and used my pet carpet shampoo and got it up. The next day I could smell cat pee and so I searched for the best enzymatic cleaner which Google said it was this one. I waited till it was dark and used my uv flash light to look the carpet over good. I bought the gallon jug knowing full well that this was going to be a war. I did what the directions said and sprayed the hell out of any spot and really sprayed the place he had just peed and I had cleaned. I didn't have windows open and the smell from the enzymatic cleaner wiped out my nose. It smelled sort of like ben gay but I ended up coughing for hours. I had to open windows everywhere to air the place out. 24 hours later I took my carpet shampooer and used cold water to rinse it out. It had so much foam coming out from where I sprayed the cleaner that the foam bogged down my carpet shampooer. It took forever to get it rinsed. It did take the cat pee smell out of the carpet though.
Then I have this nice thick shag rug in my bathroom and he peed on it. I quickly took the rug to the bathtub and tried rinsing it with cold water. That didn't do anything for the cat pee smell. So once again I used the enzymatic cleaner and sprayed the hell out of the spot he peed on. I'm not sure what smells worse. The pee or the enzymatic cleaner. I took the rug outside. I sprayed it again soaking it with the cleaner. Even with it being outside the fumes made me cough for a long time. Next day I could smell both the cat pee and the cleaner. I love my rug but was almost thinking I'd have to throw it out. I got out my power washer, filled the soap dispenser with the enzymatic cleaner. Filled that bottle four times and let it soak for a couple of hours. Then I used the power washer and rinsed for 30 minutes at least. I let it drip till it was just damp on the ends and stuck my nose to see if I could smell pee. I still could so I used the spray bottle and sprayed the area again and let it sit overnight. I still could smell a bit of pee so I sprayed it again and let it sit overnight again. The rug finally dried and I think I saved it but the smell of this cleaner is so strong. It's not a pleasant smell.
Long story short, strong fumes, expensive, and lots of work and we'll see.
