It's really hard to find sidewalk chalk this time of year in stores, and looking online, it's obvious that chalk prices are even inflated. But with this set, you get 48 thick, sturdy pieces, all a different color, in a big sturdy box with a handle! I like to leave messages for my boyfriend on the walkway, and this chalk is perfect! It hardly left any chalk on my hands, it was easy to write and draw with, too. They are shaped like big crayons. It seemed to take at least a couple weeks to get here, but was worth the wait for the low price. The only way they'd be better is if they had peelable paper around them like crayons do, but these are still good for toddlers cause they don't break easily and don't leave excess chalk dust like cheaper brands do. Go with Crayola!

Vibrant colors !
Weather is getting nice outside and my daughter is artsy ! So she asked for some new chalk and crayola never disappoints ! Variety of vibrant colors and the price was just right. Can’t complain, excited to see what she draws on our driveway lolGreat activity to get the kids outside!

I dont think I will ever find a better brand or package of chalk . And I have gone through many , many boxes with my son and the neighborhood children . Each individual piece of chalk in this box is a totally different color and you will not get any repeat shades . You might have similar colors but they will be different .
They also range from lighter shades to super bold bright colors . Easily rinsed off the sidewalk and we have never had an issue with them staining out skin or clothing .
I do recommend that you cut each 4 pack open with scissors instead of trying to tear through the plastic as you might break a couple in the process . They are pretty darn sturdy pieces though .also I noticed with these that you might want to watch the price as they go up and down to almost half price at times .
That's a huge bargain when they do and they are wonderful to gift to kids or donate.
I admit that I'm the biggest offender with using up the sidewalk chalk . But it does give me a chance to spend outdoor time with my son and his friends so it's a winner for both of us .
I give these the highest of recommendations . There are really none better in colors or pricing . My only wish is that you could get a couple more black pieces for outlining .

Tweedle Dee and tweedle dum and the dame done so far.
If used on a rough surface they disappear pretty quickly but the selection of colours is great, but they are pretty soft.
Good buy though -fun gift to give and will appeal to all ages.
