Product Description

When you're preparing a feast, a tiny cutting board just doesn't cut it.  The OXO Good Grips Utility Cutting Board provides plenty of room for chopping, slicing and dicing a small mountain of ingredients for your next meal. Non-porous construction locks out water and odors for a fresh cutting surface, while double-sided design helps you avoid cross-contamination as you work. Use one side for preparing meat and the other for working with veggies to keep flavors from mingling. Soft, tapered edges double as handles for comfortable lifting and carrying, and the cutting surface goes easy on your knives. Non-slip feet keep the cutting board in place for safety as you slice. There's also an integrated drip-catcher to keep even the juiciest foods from making a mess on your counter. This board is made to maximize cutting area, it's not too big to fit in the dishwasher. You obviously wouldn’t use it for a chopping block, but it’s perfect for everyday cooking and food prep needs.One more inch in width and it probably wouldn’t fit in a standard dishwasher.We bought two of this size, instead of buying a big one and a small one.

This thing is solid. Good for a two person household, more than enough for one person. I would not buy this if you are in need of a carving board as the juice channel is too small. I think it would leak if you are cutting a very juicy steak or who chicken. Makes for a great secondary board to prep raw meats though!

It has enough room to comfortably butterfly and then pound two chicken breasts. The Channel for liquid is small but I am not using this as a carving board as I have a Boos Block as my main board. I keep my main board on bamboo risers and this is thin/light enough to fit underneath and to get out with no issues.

I flip it over and use the back to cut veggies. It is very stable when cutting on either side.

This cleans very well. Fits very easy into my modestly sized sink. It also fits my older dish washer as well, which is the main reason I went for this size. To make it easier to do a deep sanitizing clean every now and then.

I do sometimes wish I had just a bit more room, but the next size up would be too big for my dish washer and since I am using this mostly for cutting raw meat, It was more important to me that it fit in the dish washer.

This is a great little cutting board and also carving board. it's two sided, for cutting and carving. And it's very stable on the counter. It's a great sign for my countertops, cleans easily, and tucks away for compact storage. I feel more comfortable using a cutting board that is not made of wood because it feels more sanitary and easier to clean affectively. I have purchased lots of OXO products for my kitchen, and appreciate the quality and design.
