Thibaut Courtois is set to be available for Real Madrid’s next game despite being withdrawn from the Belgium squad with injury.
The 30-year-old goalkeeper played the full 90 minutes of Friday’s 3-0 Euro 2024 qualifying win over Sweden but was stood down for Tuesday’s friendly with Germany.
A statement from Belgium read: “Thibaut returned for precaution reasons back to Real Madrid due to a minor strain in the adductor.”
However, following medical checks on his return to Spain, Real Madrid are understood to be unconcerned.
