Has the Mariners’ hot start changed your expectations for the season?

2019 was supposed to be a step-back season for the Mariners, but thanks to a power surge that has Seattle leading the American League with 7.7 runs per game, the M’s find themselves with the best record in baseball (9-2).

The home run pace isn’t sustainable, and the team has shown some major issues already — including a league-high 17 errors and a shaky bullpen (4.42 ERA in 36 2/3 innings) — but has the lineup done enough to change your opinion of the team, or is this simply a more condensed, extreme version of the hot start we saw a year ago before the long slide to irrelevance?

Let’s discuss.
