Three people have been charged for their involvement in a pitch invasion during the Champions League final at Wembley on Saturday, the Metropolitan Police has confirmed.
Yevhenii Lubnenko, 29, David Carneckij, 28, and a 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will appear at court later on Monday, July 10 and June 24 respectively.

The trio have been charged with entering the playing area at Wembley, contrary to Sec 4 of the Football (Offences) Act 1991.
The alleged offence happened during the opening stages of the game between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, with play subsequently held up for several minutes. A fourth attempt was stopped by stewards.
These charges come after the police confirmed that they had made 56 arrests at the game on Saturday after numerous “attempts to breach security”.
Commander Louise Puddefoot said: “We are confident that the overwhelming majority of attempts to unlawfully gain access to Wembley this evening were unsuccessful thanks to the efforts of officers, stewards and other stadium staff.”
The security for European football’s showpiece game has been under increased scrutiny following problems for fans at the last two finals, in Paris in 2022, and last year in Istanbul.
The final of Euro 2020 — at the same venue as Saturday night’s game — was marred by mass disorder from supporters for the match between England and Italy which saw a number of fans enter the stadium without tickets.
Real Madrid won the game to clinch their 15th European Cup thanks to goals from Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Junior.
