Karim Benzema has asked for help at Al Ittihad as his run without a goal continued.
The former France international, 36, has not scored since November in the Saudi Pro League (SPL), a run of eight games in all competitions.
Benzema joined the club from Real Madrid in June after winning 24 trophies during 14 years at the Santiago Bernabeu, including four La Liga titles and five Champions Leagues.

Al Ittihad currently sit fourth in the SPL, 30 points adrift of league leaders Al Hilal.
Asked why he isn’t currently showing the same form as he did in Spain, he said: “It’s not the same game, it’s not the same players. I need to be helped. I need help on the pitch. I can’t win one game alone.
“I need other players, I need a lot of things, but it’s different. This is my first season in Saudi (Arabia). I hope to finish the season well, I hope to win, and that’s it.”
Benzema signed a three-year deal in Saudi Arabia, but just six months later, he was linked with an exit, with his former club Lyon among those considering a move before he ultimately decided to remain.
In January, he was absent from team duties over the Saudi Arabian mid-season break, leaving on holiday without permission before reporting late back to the team.
He was one of several high-profile players to swap Europe for the SPL last summer, after the country’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) took control of four clubs — Al Ittihad, Al Nassr, Al Ahli and Al Hilal.
Al Ittihad are next in action against Al Wehda in the Saudi Super Cup semi-finals on Monday.
