The Chicago Cubs are paying tribute to Wrigleyville, the neighborhood they play in, with their "City Connect" jerseys.

On Tuesday, the Cubs unveiled the special edition uniforms, which feature dark blue pants and jerseys with light blue letters. The "Wrigleyville" name across the front of the jerseys arches like Wrigley Field's famous marquee sign.

Additionally, the club's "City Connect" apparel includes symbolism for Chicago's nickname "Second City" and represents all 77 of its neighborhoods.

MLB has been launching "City Connect" uniforms throughout the season, with the Cubs' crosstown rival White Sox revealing their pinstriped "Southside" gear nearly two weeks ago. The Boston Red Sox unveiled the most surprising jerseys so far, sporting yellow and baby blue instead of the team's traditional red and navy. The uniforms also highlighted the city's "Boston Strong" connection for Patriots' Day on April 19.
