The San Diego Padres became the latest team to release a City Connect Series uniform, which the team said is "inspired by the vibrant landscapes in the San Diego and Baja California communities, from the scenic views up and down the coastline, to the ocean’s white foam and the stunning pink and yellow sunsets. The jersey features pink and green typography designed to invoke memories of "weathered beach signs." Each shirt has one pink sleeve and one green sleeve with yellow accents.

"This Padres collection, with its colorful highlights, is a nod to the coastal community we live in," read the team's statement. "The uniform's bold colors and decorative details depict the radiant artwork that is prominent within our shared culture. The Padres are proud of our binational fan base and the region we all call home."

The Padres' City Connects might be the most eye-catching of this season's bunch. They're also reminiscent of the Miami Heat's City Edition uniforms, which feature a fuchsia and blue color scheme to portray the team's Miami Vice theme.

The Padres are the seventh and final team to unveil a City Connect uniform this season. The Brewers were the most recent team to do so when they debuted their "Brew Crew" uniforms two weeks ago.
