With abundant space for content these days, we’re putting together our Twin Cities Sports Hall of Fame. Thanks to your help, we have our list of candidates. Now it’s time to vote.

If you missed the call for nominees earlier this week, here’s how we posed the question: If you were starting a Twin Cities Sports Hall of Fame, who should be in it? It can be anyone — players, coaches, executives, administrators, broadcasters, etc. — at any level from pro on down throughout history so long as they made a profound impact on the sports landscape here in Minnesota. Being born in Minnesota is not relevant for our purposes.

Those criteria led us to the ballot you see below. It’s broken up by sport so you can more easily find the names you’re looking for. Take a look at the list, vote for as few or as many of the names as you like. Just remember this will be a 25-person list in the end, so no need to go beyond that. The top 40 vote-getters will proceed on to our panel of writers for the final selections for the 25-person class.

Voting is now closed. Thanks for participating! Look for the final class on Thursday.
