Our Styles editor, Marie Solis, talked with Miranda July about her new novel, “All Fours.” As July entered middle age, she looked around for a novel that could be a road map for her to navigate her own experience. She couldn’t find one. “This territory is so empty,” she told Solis. “Your options seem to be just sort of present like it’s not happening or maybe kind of go underground.” July spent four years writing the book she had been looking for. “All Fours” is out now.
