Karen Chrisbelle Dildilian, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Armen A. Dildilian of Port Washington, L.I., and Miami Lakes, Fla., was married yesterday to Ross Howard Tartell, son of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Tartell of West Hempstead, L.I. The Rev. Charles Calcagni, a Congregational minister, and Rabbi Irwin Lowenheim officiated at the C.W. Post College Chapel in Greenvale, L.I.
The bride, a communications officer for Citibank in New York, graduated from Vassar College and received a master's degree in musicology from New York University. Her father is a training executive at the international flight academy in Miami of Pan American World Airways.
Her mother, Margaret A. Dildilian, is a reference librarian at Biscayne College in Miami.
Mr. Tartell is a doctoral candidate in social psychology at Columbia University, from which he received an M.B.A. degree and a master's degree in education. He previously graduated from Hofstra University. His father is a dentist in Valley Stream, L.I. His mother, Lottie Tartell, is an adjunct associate professor of economics at Hofstra University.
