BRISBANE, Australia, Nov. 28 (UPI)—An unseeded French man, Thierry Bernasconi, upset the Australian Davis Cup play er, Colin Dibley, 7‐5, 6‐3, in the Queensland grass tennis cham pionships today.

Ken Rnsewall also had his first match and easily defeated Ian Brady, 6‐1, 6‐0.
