The Aldermen adopted unanimously yesterday an amendment to the motor vehicle law providing that auto trucks carrying United States mail shall be subject to the restrictions and regulations imposed on all other vehicles, except fire engines and ambulances. If the ordinance, as now amended, is enforced, United States mail wagons will not be allowed to go through the city streets at an excessive rate of speed. View Full Article in Timesmachine »
