John J. Radel won the championship of the Deal Golf and Country Club yesterday, by defeating James T. Smith 1 up in the thirty-six-hole final match. Although Radel took the first hole, Smith was five up by the time the turn was reached and despite the fact that Radel won the next four holes in succession, he was one down at the finish of the first round.
