CINCINNATI, Ohio, July 30. -- Philadelphia made a gallant rally in the ninth inning of to-day's game, but could not quite reach victory, and Cincinnati won, 5 to 4. In that inning Lobert, the first man up, drove out a triple, Cravath a single, Luderus another triple, which, with a wild pitch by Ames. netted Philadelphia three runs, one short of tying the score.
