NEWARK, N.J., March 18. -- Members of the exclusive Montclair Club are stoutly opposed to the action of he Board of Freeholders in giving permission to the North Jersey Street Railway Company to lay tracks and run cars on Bloomfield Avenue, through Montclair. The majority of those interested along the whole line, which includes Montclair, Caldwell, and Verona Avenues, were shown to be in favor of the trolley, and the clubmen's protests were unheeded.
