CAMBRIDGE, March 17. -- The Harvard 'Varsity crew had a three days' rest last week preparatory to beginning work on the river. During this time the men exercised by pulling chest weights and taking long walks. The attempt to get on the water, however, was not very successful. On Thursday the crew was out only fifteen minutes, when Watson found fault with the rigging of the barge, and on Friday a snowstorm spoiled the work. View Full Article in Timesmachine »
