There seems to be much force in the objection made by Boulevard property owners to the construction of the rapid-transit road upon a viaduct for a mile, from Ninety-second to One Hundred and Twelfth Street. As no answer was made to the statement that the purpose was not to avoid any engineering difficulty, but to save about $1,250,000 in the cost of construction, we presume the statement was substantially correct.
