The Ship-owners' Association held a special meeting yesterday afternoon at their rooms, No. 52 Pine street. A letter was received from Hon. Hamilton Fish in regard to the fines imposed upon American vessels by Cuban officials, in which be stated that the Department was giving the matter proper consideration.
