Yesterday morning, shortly after midnight, an attempt was made by three men confined in the Tombs to escape. They were TEREKOE GILLESPIE, confined on a charge of burglary; RICHARD WAND, grand larceny; and EDWARD FOLEY, for disorderly conduct.
