We've spent the past couple of weeks sharing a whole bunch of incredible music that came out in 2021, including NPR Music's picks for the 50 Best Albums and 100 Best Songs. But despite our best efforts, it's just impossible to capture and highlight all the stuff we loved this year on any one list because there's just so much of it and we're a diverse group of music lovers with really broad tastes.
So, on this episode of All Songs Considered, members of the NPR Music team share their favorite song or album that didn't make it on any of our other lists, including the searing pop of girl in red, the Florida rapper doechii, the return of Limp Bizkit – yes, Limp Bizkit – and more.
