Adenosarcoma of the uterus [Supplementary Concept]
A rare uterine neoplasm that originates in the ENDOMETRIUM and contains a mixture of benign and malignant components. It is most common in post-menopausal women, in those with hyperestrogenemia (high blood estrogen levels), or who have undergone chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
