A cappella group Pentatonix returning to Lehigh Valley as latest Allentown Fair headliner

A cappella group Pentatonix will be returning this summer to the Allentown Fair.

The fair announced Thursday that the Grammy Award-winning group will play the Service Electric Stage at 7 p.m. Aug. 31

It will be its second appearance at the yearly fair, following a sold-out performance there in 2017.

Pentatonix recently finished its latest Christmas tour to support its newest album, “The Greatest Christmas Hits,” according to the fair.

This is the second announcement by the fair this week. On Wednesday, the fair announced country music singer Brad Paisley will perform Aug. 30.

Tickets for both acts can be purchased on Ticketmaster.com or the fair’s box office, which will will have special hours 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 2 and 8.

Tickets for Pentatonix are $72 and $92.

In addition to the 2017 Allentown Fair appearance, the group also performed at PPL Center in 2019.

The Allentown Fair runs Aug. 28 through Sept. 2. Another show will be announced this week.
