Artist's Description

Four women sit on the deck of a swimming pool, their legs in the water, and model bathing caps that feature various fanciful faces, March 1959. Invented by Long Island, New York, resident Betty Geib, who makes under the name Betty Darling, they were originally designed to amuse her three children.
