Facilities
IKEA Store
The IKEA store offers a variety of facilities. You can enjoy shopping comfortably. Please check the details page of the IKEA store you plan to visit for information on how to use it and the facilities you can use.
Shuttle bus
The IKEA shuttle bus runs from Shin-Yokohama Station to IKEA Kohoku. For details, please see the IKEA Kohoku store details page.
Free parking
IKEA stores, excluding city shops, offer parking lots that can accommodate approximately 650 to 2,000 vehicles. A more spacious parking area is also available near the elevators. Passengers with strollers or wheelchairs can get on and off easily. Please use the designated loading zone for loading large items.
Parking fee: IKEA Tachikawa you pay 1000YEN which will be reimbursed after shopping at the checkouts. IKEA Sendai offers free parking up to 3h. For more details please visit the local store page
EV Charging
Available at stores with charging stations for electric vehicles (EV).
Bicycle parking lot
If you come by bicycle or motorcycle, please use the bicycle parking lot at the store.
Car sharing service
We have set up a Times car sharing station. Please see the Times Car website for details on how to use it.
Wheelchairs
Our stores are barrier-free so you can enjoy shopping with peace of mind. Wheelchairs are available at all IKEA stores. please ask the staff at the store entrance. Only IKEA Tachikawa and IKEA Sendai are available on the 2nd floor.
Baby Care Room
Nursing rooms are available near the entrance on 1F and next to the IKEA restaurant and café on 2F. For hot water and other facilities please ask our co-workers.
Playroom SMÅLAND
Children's favorite Småland is a supervised IKEA playground where you can leave your children in safe hands while you shop – free of charge. In the Småland playroom you can swim in the ball pool, watch movies, draw, color or otherwise just play. Playtime is 1 h (during peak hours 45 min). We welcome all children aged 4-10 years old to play
Free luggage locker
There are lockers near the 1F entrance where you can store your luggage for free. If you have a lot of baggage, leave it in a locker and enjoy convenient shopping

A Seven Bank ATM(セブン銀行) is located near the 1F entrance.
Free Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi service is available in all areas of the IKEA store. It is possible to connect to the Internet from devices without 3G/4G (LTE) lines. You can use it on the spot by selecting a designated network name (SSID) and agreeing to the terms of use.

IKEA supports sustainable living and to reduce the use of plastic. You can use the app “mymizu” that allows you to search for water supply locations for free. Please feel free to bring your own bottle and use the water stations.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed inside the store. We have a designated smoking area outside of our buildings.
