Price: Travel fee ¥5,500~ + Effort based Assembly fee. 
Assembly fee is depending on furniture.

The staff will provide the information about available date and time, at the time of application.

First specify a delivery date, and please choose a date later than the delivery date for assembly. 
* Depending on the quantity, we may ask you to change the time.

How to apply

＜If you purchase at IKEA store＞
Please ask the staff on the sales floor or at the delivery counter.

＜If you purchase online, apply for assembly while you purchasing＞
*You cannot apply Assembly service via IKEA APP, please use the website.

Place the products in the shopping cart and tick the products for which you would like the assembly service.If the postcode you have entered is in an area where the assembly service is available online and the products are eligible, the shopping cart will display a selection screen for the furniture assembly service.

Products for which you cannot apply for assembly services online.

  • PAX, STUVA, PLASTA, SMÅSTAD, IVAR, BOAXEL, ELVARI, TORDH, BROR, BESTÅ, JOSTEIN and other combination furniture
  • Products requiring wall fixing
  • Products requiring installation work, e.g. plumbing
  • Other products that we have set up as "Not online available".

If you require assembly services for any of the above products, please call Customer Service or ask our staff at the store.

 

＜If you wish to apply for assembly after purchasing＞
If you purchased the product at online store or in a sales order at IKEA store, please select the order from your purchase history and apply for the product from 'Manage purchases'. 
Otherwise, please contact the Customer Support Centre with your receipt in hand. Payment for the service can be made only by credit card, one-time payment.

Optional work with Assembly

Some IKEA furniture may need to be fixed to walls or ceilings for safety.
If you use our assembly service, you can request the following optional work.

  • We do not accept applications for optional work only. Please apply together with furniture assembly.
  • The charge for optional work will be invoiced by the assembler on the day of the furniture assembly service, and paid later by a predetermined method or in cash (payment methods vary depending on the assembly supplier in charge in the area).
  • Please note that it may not be possible to provide Assembly service or Optional work, depending on the conditions in the room visited on the day of the service. Please check in advance the material of the wall to be fixed. In the case of fixing to apartment buildings in particular, please also check with the management company of the apartment.

Wall fixing for furniture

Wall fixing for Storage furniture

¥2,095 (incl. tax) / per piece of furniture 

This option uses screws to fix the furniture to the wall to prevent it from falling over. If the wall on which you wish to fix the furniture does not have sufficient groundwork, separate groundwork is required.

Suspension and fixing work

¥1,571 (incl. tax) / per fixture required for fixing

This is an option to fix the furniture in a suspended position on the wall. If the wall on which you wish to fix the furniture does not have sufficient groundwork, separate groundwork is required.

Groundwork

¥3,143 (incl. tax)/per 60 cm width

This is an option when there is not sufficient groundwork on the wall where fixing is desired.

*The groundwork may not be possible depending on the room conditions. 

Other optional works

  • Service to fix the lighting to the Cabinets or Shelves. Might require Drilling works for cable.
  • Drilling: ¥524 / 1 hole
    Drilling work for Lighting or electric cables.
  • Ceiling fix: ¥3,143 / 1 pole
  • Joint furniture: ¥524 / 1 joint
    Joint work for furniture without joint parts.
  • BESTÅ Vertical Joint : ¥524 / 1 joint

Important notes 

  • Please click here to check travel fee, which vary depending on the area.
  • If a delivery service is used, the assembly date may differ from the delivery date. In addition, the furniture must be carried into the room where the assembly and installation will take place.
  • Cancellation must be notified to the Customer Support Centre by 5pm two days prior to the assembly date. After that date, a cancellation fee will be charged.
  • In the unlikely event that the work cannot be carried out and the cancellation is cancelled, a cancellation fee will also be charged. Please check the Terms and Conditions before applying.

How to apply and pay.

  1. Visit the website or download the ANYTIMES app
  2. Find a service
    once you find an IKEA Certified Furniture Assembly Supporter who offers the service you want to use, you can 'Request Consultation'.
  3. Payment
    Pay for the service in advance to ANYTIMES. Payment can be made by credit card. If you do not have a credit card, please contact the ANYTIMES office.
  4. On-site assembly
    The service supporter will visit your home and assemble the furniture. After the service is provided, the service fee is paid to the supporter via ANYTIMES.
