Jennifer Garner's Go-to Summer Sunscreen Is Less Than $10

Between acting, her family, philanthropic work with Save the Children, co-founding Once Upon a Farm (which, by the way, has a GH Snack Award-winning oat bar) and so much more, it's safe to say Neutrogena brand ambassador Jennifer Garner is constantly on-the-go. One thing she always makes time for, though, is her skincare — and especially her sunscreen.
We caught up with Jennifer in May for Melanoma Awareness Month to chat all things skincare and sun care, and we learned some pretty staggering stats. According to a Neutrogena-conducted survey, 48% of Gen Z believe that getting a "base tan" can help prevent a sunburn. To be clear, this is not true. On top of that, 45% of Gen Z prioritizes a tan over skin protection — that's nearly half of Gen Z.
So, educating everyone on the importance of sun safety is needed more than ever (after all, one in five Americans will develop skin cancer by the age of 70).

If you're someone who doesn't love the feeling of sunscreen, Jennifer says to try this product — "chef's kiss," she calls it. "It's a moisturizer, it has sun protection, and it's a primer for makeup," she says. You'd be applying moisturizer and might be applying primer anyway, she adds, so she loves reaching for this multitasker instead. "Pretend it doesn't even have sunscreen," she suggests.

Jennifer grabs this sunscreen spray if she's "going to be at the beach or in the pool or sweating outside," she says. We love that the yellow bottle makes it easy to spot even in big tote bags.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Cream With Hyaluronic Acid
When it's hot and humid out, the last thing you want is a heavy moisturizer sitting on your face. Jennifer uses this lightweight hyaluronic acid hydrating cream at night and loves that "it gives a glow and a plumpness," she says.
