Summer is upon us and you know what that means: “Big Brother 26″ is right around the corner. Here’s everything to know about the season.
When will “Big Brother 26” premiere?
“Big Brother 26” will premiere with a live two-night opener on Wednesday, July 17 at 9/8c on CBS, followed by the second part on Thursday, July 18 at 9/8c. This launch is three weeks earlier than last year’s premiere, which was on Aug. 2, which was delayed due to the writers’ strike impacting CBS’ scripted fare.

Who is in the “Big Brother 26” cast?
TBA. The cast is typically revealed closer to the premiere.
When will “Big Brother 25” air?
“Big Brother” will once again retain its Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays air schedule. However, there is one slight change: It will air at 9/8c on all three days instead of at 8/7c on Wednesdays and Sundays. Live evictions will, of course, be on Thursdays.

What are the new twists of “Big Brother 26”?
Again TBA. On June 17, one month out, the show’s official Instagram account teased, “Not everything is as it seems this summer. #BB26 is unlike any season we’ve had yet and we’re just one month away.” Doesn’t say anything, of course, but note the data transmission graphics. That followed a promo on CBS in which iconic quotes from past houseguests play as the onscreen text reads, “This summer these walls will talk.”
Who will host “Big Brother 26”?
Julie Chen Moonves, obviously. The Chenbot is back after sitting out “Big Brother Reindeer Games” in December.
Are the live feeds back?
Yes, they’re on Paramount+ again.
When will Season 26 end?
Also unclear. CBS has not announced a finale date yet. Last year, Season 25 lasted a record-breaking 100 days because of the dual writers’ and actors’ strikes, but Season 26 is unlikely to be that long. Season 24 lasted 82 days, while Seasons 22 (during COVID) and 23 were each 85 days.
