Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient this season added a dash of coziness and elegance to Ottolinger. Cue the slouchy opening look in beige and romantic deconstructed lace numbers that wrapped the show.
In between, the duo presented sheer knitted tops and dresses mixed and matched with pieces that embodied the brand’s party-girl core, such as sultry bar tops, embossed croc pattern trousers and ballon skirts reworked from cargo pants. There were some sharp tailoring looks, and great shirting options for the career woman as well.
“This season is very much about tweaking the Ottolinger woman. She is growing up, and not so messy anymore. It’s like growing up without losing yourself, but it’s still flamboyant and fun,” Bösch said backstage.
The spring 2024 collection included the brand’s second capsule with Puma. On top of issuing smaller size shoulder bags whose shapes took cues from the iconic patent leather camera bag in more colorways and the Mostro boot in low top, the duo developed yoga pieces with the image of a suit printed on them, keeping the brand’s playful spirit alive.
