Global sports brand PUMA is beloved by professional athletes and sports aficionados, but it is just as popular with everyday consumers for its casual street style and versatile looks. The brand’s designers have turned to the ’90s for style inspiration on and off the courts and fields, and this plays out in PUMA’s elevated accessories as well.
United Legwear & Apparel Co. (ULAC) has been capturing PUMA’s vibe for its focused range of bags, casual hats and other functional items for nearly a decade. For its latest collection, ULAC put a new twist on ’90s street trends while also staying true to PUMA’s legacy styles and signature details—think the curved formstrip logo and jumping cat. Splashes of pop color tie back to PUMA apparel and the seasonal trend colors, while core colors for year-round usage are mixed in to offer enhanced wearability of styles.

The use of color is the most visual way for PUMA accessories to connect seasonal collections and coordinate with apparel. Utilizing PUMA’s seasonal color palette, PUMA’s SS25 collections incorporate hues such as Magenta Gleam, Frosted Dew, Pale Plum and Clementine Orange. Pops of Fizzy Apple Green, Blumazing and PUMA Pink add that retro ’90s flair.

Designed to maintain PUMA’s heritage style, women’s handbags are a hallmark of the accessories offering, available in varied styles, sizes and functionalities. Handbags are particularly popular, as they serve many daily outfit choices and more formal and social events. For weekend errands, for example, poly or canvas totes offer lightweight versatility and functionality, with detachable and adjustable straps for hands-free cross-body transformation.
Designing across age groups and gender, ULAC has also set its sights on designing unisex crossbody bags, backpacks and duffels to fit the needs of any adult or teen. Functionality and flexibility are two key elements, with non-fussy bags designed for “grab ‘n go” ease for whatever the day brings. Bags can be used for school, sports, commuting to work or attending venue events.

The popular retro bowling bag-style silhouette with structured handles – the “Grip Bags” – are available in both mini and large sizes. Fitting PUMA’s heritage look and versatility, they can be sold on the handbag floor, as well as in more athletic retailers.
A fast-growing silhouette, particularly in urban culture, is the new Backpack Duffel, according to ULAC. People are carrying more items with them while commuting to work or traveling, so duffels need to be roomy all while being easy to carry. Fusing a traditional duffel style with backpack straps adds a useful “hands-free” element. Additionally, the backpack duffel can be carried in multiple ways so wearers can personalize it to fit their need in the moment or lifestyle in general. Other popular accessories are cross-body camera-style bags with lots of pockets and zippers, as well as sport caps. PUMA accessories are available at PUMA retail stores, Amazon.com, Macy’s and Shoe Show.
