The weather is heating up and so is Paul & Shark’s minimalist chic aesthetic.
This summer, Paul & Shark, the Italian luxury clothing brand, is teaming up with Juvia, a stylish restaurant on Es Pujols, Formentera Island, to bring its passion for the sea to life with Juvia by Paul and Shark. The restaurant has been redesigned to mirror the Paul & Shark lifestyle, born out of a passion for the sea in 1976 and beloved by loyal customers who value elegant and contemporary, quality pieces.
Together, the teams behind Paul & Shark and Juvia said that the collaboration is “a lifestyle project born from a shared vision, a way of envisaging and living life. It’s a place where time stands still, where days pass by in the island’s typically tranquil way, punctuated only by the sound of the sea and rising and setting of the sun.”

Andrea Dini, chief executive officer of Paul & Shark, told Fairchild Studio that collaborating with the restaurant allows the brand to fully express its potential with dual perspectives.

First, the restaurant will serve to communicate “a passion for the Italian style, refinement and elegance. It is a fashion that increasingly merges with the lifestyle in its totality.” And second, the project will communicate Paul & Shark’s “identity, values and heritage, which has always been inspired by the sea and mindful of the planet.”

Importantly, as Paul & Shark customized Juvia, the brand has also collaborated with Vellmarì, a 30-year-old local organization founded with marine biologist and photographer Manu San Felix that is heavily involved in research around and protecting nature and the marine ecosystem. Vellmarì is dedicated to promoting projects to conserve the ecosystems of the Mediterranean Sea and the Posidonia plant, in particular, which thrives on Formentera Island. Through its work with Paul & Shark, the organization will be able to plan 700 new Posidonia plants.
During the tenure of Juvia by Paul & Shark, Paul & Shark will host several activities to support the collaboration with Vellmarì including experiences with marine biologists, influencers and talent.
There will be exploration experiences and discovery of the area all beginning and finishing at Juvia by Paul & Shark. For World Oceans Day in June, a small, diverse group of experts and enthusiasts of nature, water and biodiversity were led on an experience with the Vellmarì Association to discover the island’s rich underwater nature, and the treasures hidden there.

“The theme of preserving the Planet, nature and especially the sea, is a key theme for Paul & Shark,” said Dini. “Often our projects have a focus on this. For us, it is essential to tell our identity through communication activities and to spread our message in this way. This is the first time we are working with Vellmarì, it’s a partnership that came about spontaneously. We landed on the island and we decided to start activities in support of the territory, an area rich in biodiversity, which we particularly care about.”
Guests visiting Juvia by Paul & Shark this summer can expect to experience the spacious outdoor area overlooking the sea with the brand’s welcoming minimalistic-chic aesthetic seen everywhere from the chairs, cotton cushions and welcome flag. The design, customized by Paul & Shark, was inspired by the history and identity of the island and carefully customized to reflect its signature style.
Juvia by Paul & Shark is open from lunch to dinner and offers an informal setting to enjoy Mediterranean cuisine and a collection of signature cocktails.
