[Edit March 2023] Ring has now fixed the wifi issue that was causing the issue mentioned below. Ring has been very responsive to the wifi issue, kudos to them for addressing the issue and release a fix. Changing the rating.
[Original Post] The integrated WiFi in the Ring Alarm Pro is terrible and completely ineffective. The range is poor and the connectivity is inconsistent. If you have many devices or are doing real time video streaming or gaming, be careful. I have now disconnected the Ring Alarm and am using a 5 year old wifi/router and getting much better performance.
I called Ring technical support and they said that the router/wifi is not to be used with many connected devices. That would be fine if could use the Ring device as a second network, or event better yet, disable it. But, you can't disable the wifi and you need to use it as your primary wifi. So, you are forced to use their terrible wifi. I tried returning/exchanging the Alarm Pro basestation for just the regular one without the integrated wifi. Ring declined and told me to call Amazon. An extremely frustrating hour with Amazon support with three handoffs to other agents (and having to repeat the request) got me nowhere. I am now using the Alarm Pro wifi in Bridge mode with only one computer and the Ring devices connected to it. What a waste.
The alarm itself is good. The setup for all the devices is easy and the app is nicely done.

Get this if you want to put your home at risk
I ordered this entire system to upgrade from our regular ring on July 1st. I regret this decision. It took me 3 days trying to get it to work, did not sleep the night before my trip working on the phone with support, and my fiancé ended up just missing our flight to try to get it working. We live in a very expensive home and neighborhood, so security is absolutely necessary.He was not able to get it fully working so he connected the old one and we had two systems connected. While we were away, the Pro base station kept losing connection which then we would have to send a family or friend over to troubleshoot it. Luckily one friend ended up staying to watch our house and She also had no stop issues.Yesterday, I worked on the phone for 3 hours trying to get the pro to work. Finally, I got it working with the help of a competent and patient ring support member. We left 2 hours later than we planned, and about 2 hours later the system for whatever reason lost its power and then died. I did not find out until this morning and had to instruct my housekeeper how to try and get it back on.We will see how long it stays on this time… don’t bother with this system… get ADT
